Staff Council for Academic and Artistic Employees

Welcome!

You are on the homepage of the Staff Council for Academic and Artistic Employees (WPR) at Bielefeld University. As the elected representative of interests, we advise and represent the academic staff (in German 'Mittelbau') excluding professors.

We are looking forward to provide comprehensive advice to all academics and lecturers on all aspects of labor law, teaching obligations and the law on temporary employment contracts. We support you with topics of working conditions, employee attitude, safety at work, work-life balance, academic qualifications and private challenges. However, we do not offer binding legal advice.
